We are heading from Tobermory to Cape Croker.
Leaving Tobermory around 8am we decided to take a detour in the wrong direction and see Flower Pot Island. Its a big tourist attraction and we wanted to see what it was all about. While we were headed there we passed the Chi Cheemaun and one of the lighthouses.
After our detour we headed back in the right direction. It was a weird wind day in which the winds would die and then come back and within 20 minutes we went from glassy calm to sailing 7knots.
This would be only our second time ever anchoring. The day was spent reading, watching the water and playing a short game of I spy. We traveled 49nm in just over 10 hours and arrived at McGregor Harbour after 6pm. It was a beautiful little anchorage that we had completely to ourselves.
