We left McCrae Anchorage to head north to Massasauga Provincial Park.
The winds were light but it didn’t matter. We had to motor because of how narrow and rocky it is up in Georgian Bay near land. We saw a heron and water snake on our trip and got to the new anchorage around 2pm.
We put the dinghy in the water and went for a short ride but the engine wasn’t working properly so we called it quits for the night and went back for dinner. The next day Tara took the outboard apart and cleaned it and we also discovered that the intake line in the gas tank for the dinghy had disconnected inside so we needed a new one.
We did a bit of a clean on the boat, took the dinghy our for a test run (the engine ran smoothly), fished, swam, read, had a video call with Britt’s dad and her brother, watched some TV and finally ended the night with star gazing.
